“Your life will only reward you to the extent of which you have invested in it. Set an intention to be open to learning and unlearning, giving and receiving at all times.”

One of the things we as AIESECers love most about the AIESEC experience is our conferences. It is a must-have experience for every AIESECer, friend of AIESEC, alumni, and anyone who has had their interest piqued by the AIESEC organization. Our conferences are always grand. Each Organizing Committee (OC) strives to outdo the last, from planning unforgettable theme nights to sourcing partnerships from like-minded organizations. We dare not forget the inspiring and captivating sessions from various panellists. Go ahead and miss taking eight glasses of water a day, but ensure you tick off ‘Attend an AIESEC conference’ from your bucket list.
The Executive Board (EB) recently attended the annual Planning Conference (PLANCONF). PLANCONF is an AIESEC convention of all incoming Executive Board (EB) members from various Local Chapters (LCs) coming together to create strategies to achieve a common goal in the new term. The wholesome and insightful conference provided new lessons that challenged our perspective and ideas on teamwork, goal setting, and our individual AIESEC experience.
“In one quote, I would sum up this conference experience as, if work isn’t fun, you are not playing on the right team.” - Diana Gudu, Local Chapter President (LCP) 22.23

“My most remarkable space during the conference had to be the session delivered by the AIESEC in Daystar alumni, Tess Omulo. The session made me reflect on how my AIESEC experience would impact my life outside the organization. ‘Be phenomenal or be forgotten.’” - Eve Andeka, LCVP Talent Management (TM) 22.23
“A highlight for me has to be stepping out of my comfort zone, asking questions, and participating in activities. Seeing myself thrive in this way is greatly rewarding.” - Njeri Ngángá, LCVP Brand and Customer Experience (BCXP) 22.23

“I am still in awe from the realization of what wonderful interactions with people from different universities pursuing a different course can make me want to do more, push harder, and be a better version of myself.” - Mishley Otiende, LCVP Finance, Legalities, and Administration (FLA) 22.23
The conference experience is not only inspiring, fulfilling, and insightful. It allows you to challenge yourself and expand your thoughts and ideas. It is an investment in your personal growth. Take a chance on yourself! You will not regret it.
